Rummy Colony Base Game

Rummy meets trivia in a game designed by the creative minds that brought you Word Colony and Word Colony: Kids.

Rummy Colony blends cardplay with multiple-choice trivia as players discover new and amazing facts about the world around them, and collect sets and runs of numbered cards to score points.

Each turn, one player will read a triva question aloud along with a list of possible answers. The players must identify what they believe is the correct answer, voting in secret. Once all responses have been selected, players reveal their votes to score points whenever correct.

As with Word Colony, player points are recorded with the cards placed in front of them, but these points are at risk of being stolen away by competitors until a colony is formed. To create a colony, connect one set of cards to another by building off of the last card in the set. For example, a run of cards from 3 through 7 can be protected by adding a perpendicular set of four 7s at the end. Or maybe you have just the right cards in hand to score a 7, 8, and 9. The choice and challenge is yours!

Combining trivia, strategy, and card games, Rummy Colony includes 300 cards of questions and special abilities. When you are ready to grow the card pool and number of players, mix in one or more expansion packs to increase the variety of questions, powers, and add cards of specific areas of knowledge.
