In beautiful Burgendy, both players each run a traditional farm, where both wine and cheese are produced. Even though they share vinyards, pastures, and workers as neighbors, they are still in direct competition with each other.
For two years, they must prove that they can master the demanding tasks of wine and cheese production. Procuring the ingredients requires considerable skill, as workers are sent out in pairs to the plots in spring and brought back in autumn. Good timing is essential, not only to produce and mature the wine and cheese to the best quality possible, but also to sell them at the right moment before they spoil! To win, however, they must above all pay attention to maintaining the crucial balance between wine and cheese. At the end of the two years, each farm will only be rewarded by the product that yielded the fewest coins.
